RE: Sheets for the beds

The Jayco 32bhds rocks! We have one. We use regular queen size sheets for the queen bed. I had some twin extra long from muy son who is in college, for the upper bunks and haven't covered the J-cube (if you have that option.

RE: Making up the Bed!!

Yep, it is a challenge. My old TT had thr bed against the wall and I had to climb on it and pull everything up one corner at a time. Even in my new TT it's tough with the nightstands on both sides.

RE: Moma says it's time for a change!

I second the Jayco 32BHDS. We just upgraded to this and love it, for the room and the quality.

RE: Little help PLEASE...

i had a skyline Layton model. Open the outside compartment where the hot water heater/furnace is. You will see the relief valve. On that unit there is a flat white plug. You will need some kind of ratchet to open up that plug. This is where you would drain and or flush the hot water heater. Hope this helps.

RE: who has a seasonal site?

This is our 5th year as a seasonal camper. Every post has said exactly how we feel about this. We would pull out 1-2 times a year for a week long vacation. Due to the cost of gas we decided not to pull out this year. We also are trading in our 27ft "starter"camper for a Jayflight g2 32bhds. Getting it tommorow, delivered for us and set up on our beautiful campsite. We will not be able to tow this unit with our current tv, but we have everything here to truly experience camping without thr hassles of towing. Maybe there should be a separate forum for seasonals?

RE: Anyone cancelling trips due to gas prices?

yup. We have a seasonal site, but would take our trailer out ocassionally. Decided nto get a bigger TT so we can be comfortable, have more guests, more room and just stay put and enjoy what we have there. New Jayco should be in the end of this week! Can't afford to tow at 8 mpg.

RE: Jayco G2 32BHDS

We just put a downpayment on this unit. we live in NY and have a seasonal site, so we went with a local dealer and got a decent price. We can't tow with our current vehicle, a Ford E150 van. I looked into some places that are on Ebay and talked to some dealers in the Illinois, Indiana regions. Better prices than NY but, I want a local dealer for my situation. I talked to someone ast RV direct and they were going to get back to me with more info and info on my trade. They never did and i called several times! Their prices weren't as great as I expected anyway. Hope this helps.

Need a larger TT

I am going to purchase a larger TT. These units all have the same layout more or less, and this is the floorplan I want. Does anyone have any of these units, and if so or not, which do you think would be the best value? Puma 31BHSS, Layton311 LTD, Jayco Jayflight G2 BHDS. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

RE: Sampson versus Watkins Glen - NYS parks

We have stayed at both parks and each are wonderful. Sampson is definately the best choice with your rig. We were in loop 5 site 241. Awesome site with large open field on the side, trees, altmost water view. All the sites near that one were absolutely level. The whole loop looked level as well. Hope this helps. aw
